What you need to upload.
The document stage is important because Rent2Buy assesses affordability and eligibility from the information you provide rather than from a traditional credit check.
Normally requested
- Three recent full bank statements showing the complete statement periods.
- Two proofs of your current address, such as suitable utility bills or official correspondence.
- A full valid UK or EU driving licence.
- For limited companies, additional company bank statements and director information may be required.
Why full bank statements?
They are used to understand recent income, expenditure and regular financial commitments. Selected screenshots or partial transaction lists may not provide enough information for the assessment.
Avoid delays
Unreadable, incomplete or missing proofs can delay the application because the full case is normally reviewed after the required documents have been received.
Once you submit the Rent2Buy application, you are taken straight to the secure proof-upload step. The documents are sent into the existing Rent2Buy sales email workflow and matched to your application reference. Bank statements must be PDF files.
